Document Sciences Named EMC Software Channel ISV of the Year

EMC Corporation awarded Document Sciences the Channel ISV of the Year award at its second annual software channel partner conference, which took place on January 10, 2006 in Las Vegas, NV.

Rob Tarkoff, Senior Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Alliances, EMC Software, said, "In 2005, Document Sciences released a Designed for Documentum integration with their product family, and expanded upon a distribution and referral agreement to resell application specific licenses of Documentum, successfully co-selling our solutions at key accounts and driving significant results for EMC. We congratulate Document Sciences for winning the Channel ISV partner of the year award for the Americas."

The Partner of the Year awards recognize valuable partners who have exceeded joint sales and business goals, achieved significant market penetration, and provided superior support throughout the year.

"The synergy between our best-of-class Dynamic Content Publishing solutions and EMC's market leading Enterprise Content Management platform enables unprecedented productivity advances across numerous industry applications," stated Dan Fregeau, EVP of Document Sciences. "We are very honored to receive this award and we look forward to another great year working closely with EMC Software Group in 2006," added Jack McGannon, President and CEO of Document Sciences.

We are also a member of the EMC Documentum Application Developer Program and received specialized design consultation, guidance and access to dedicated EMC content management technical resources. As a result, xPression has earned the EMC "Designed for Documentum" logo designation for meeting stringent application design and development standards for offerings developed on the EMC Documentum enterprise content management (ECM) platform.

The EMC Documentum Application Developer Program helps ISVs, VSPs and SIs target, design, develop and go-to-market with successful offerings based on the EMC Documentum platform. As a member, partners can submit their offering to be considered for "Designed for Documentum" accreditation, which ensures their offering has met all requirements to be certified on the Documentum platform.
