Document Sciences Joins XML Developer Group as Founding Member

Document Sciences has joined the Open XML Formats Developer Group as a founding member. Initially composed of 40 organizations from around the world, the Open XML Formats Developer Group provides a community for developers to exchange technical information regarding the use of Ecma International-developed Office Open XML file formats.

“We’re very pleased to be a founding member of this growing technical community,” says Doug Winter, Chief Operating Officer for Document Sciences. “It’s a great opportunity for organizations to not only share information, but to also share expertise and foster the development of innovative solutions using open file formats. At Document Sciences we’ve been committed to developing solutions that use open XML formats to streamline data integration and speed document creation for our customers as evidenced in our xPression® service oriented architecture (SOA).”

Membership in the Open XML Formats Developer Group is open to developers free of charge to promote and advance the continued development of open file formats across industries. Additional information is available at www.OpenXmlDeveloper.org.
