Course Title: Advanced DLS Topics v9.x

Duration: 8 hours/2 days (four 1 hour sessions per day)

This course is designed for individuals who require comprehensive instruction in the detailed management of Document Library Services (DLS). Individuals who participate in installing, configuring, administering, and designing documents using the DLS environment should enroll for this inclusive experience. Participants will learn the detailed architecture of the DLS system and its components. Hands-on exercises teach critical aspects of document development and problem solving techniques; they also include administrative set-up using DDM-ADMIN and advanced document creation using the DDM-EDIT Design interface.
This course is delivered Live-Online and and telephone conferencing facilities. By removing the need for travel and accommodation, you can attend from any location that has a telephone and a computer with high speed Internet access. The class extends for two days and is comprised of eight one-hour instructional sessions, allowing students the opportunity to complete hands-on exercises independently.

Who Should Attend:

This is an advanced course designed for individuals who currently have an active role in the document development process using DLS software. Individuals attending this class should have previous DLS experience. Prior experience with the CompuSet Command Language is strongly suggested.

Prerequisite:

  • A PC with high speed Internet connection
  • Telephone or Tele-Conferencing facilities
  • DLS loaded on PC with access to DDM-Admin
  • Successful completion of “Fundamentals of DLS” and six months DLS and CompuSet experience is highly recommended
  • Intermeditate level experience with Microsoft Windows 2000 or higher
